Charges of Carrying a Firearm and Improper Storage of a Firearm Dismissed After Several Months of Pre-Trial Litigation
Our client is an accountant at the largest accounting firm in the country. He is from Connecticut where he is licensed to carry a gun. He has frequent business meetings in Massachusetts and travels here regularly for work. Nearly one year ago he was in Massachusetts on business. His gun was in the car loaded. He forgot to take it out before he left home. While at work, his car was stolen. He properly reported the theft. He also admitted to having a firearm in the car. When the car was located and gun was found. It was operable and not properly stored.
