Original Conditions of Bail Reinstated After Defendant Fails to Charge GPS Device and is Violated on Conditions of Release
The defendant is facing a mandatory twelve years in state prison on a pending drug trafficking charge. Several months ago we secured his release on bail with a condition that he wear a GPS tracking device. The other night the man forgot to charge the device. The police department and probation department tried to call him several times to no avail. An arrest warrant issued and the defendant was arrested and brought back into court.
