Charges of Assault and Battery Against Student Do Not Issue
The defendant is a juvenile with no prior criminal history. A few months ago a student was following the defendant and taking pictures of him in an intimidating manner. Other students watched these actions and laughed at the defendant in an intimidating manner. The defendant asked the person to stop. He did not. The defendant responded by punching him in the face, breaking his nose is several places. An application for a criminal complaint charging assault and battery, G.L. c. 265 Section 13A issued and the defendant had court today.
